In 2009 Brown Sugar was crowned the Digicel
Rising Stars winner at the Courtleigh Auditorium. Since that date she has gone on to work with prominent artist. Brown
Sugar met Tanya Stephens in 2004. She said she was introduced to the outspoken artiste by some of her musicians. "She did a ask fi a backup singer and
dem give her the link... As Tanya Stephens'
backup singer, Brown Sugar, has learned a lot from her over the years. According to Brown Suga " I have watched her do interviews and live shows, so I know what to expect.
Mi and Tanya are like sisters," said Brown Sugar. "She mek mi know seh anybody weh mi a voice fa, mi fi mek sure
seh a righted producer weh a go put out mi song. And, she mek mi know seh di same persons weh bring yuh, are capable of bringing
you right back down, so you have to be real at all times." Although she is now an artiste in her own right, Brown Sugar
said she will still do work with Tanya Stephens. "If she get something to

Hype (Jahmari Warren) A.K.A., that Rah Rah Kid, has been the voice of New Jersey dancehall for over 7 years. His unique stage
presence and distinct voice entertains with energy, charisma, and even comedy. Anyone who has seen or heard Banky Hype in
action definitely has something to talk about the next day. Banky can be heard on New Jerseys number one reggae station, G City's Road Block Radio 90.1FM
(www.roadblockradio.com) on Thursdays and Fridays, (The Mawning Mint) 6am to 9am, Wednesdays (The Wire) 10pm to 12am, Fridays
(The Traffic Jam) 5pm to 8pm, and Saturdays (The Super Mixx) 3pm-6pm. In addition to Banky's presence on the radio and at any given club venue throughout the week
there are a number of up and coming projects that will be sure to change the face of the New Jersey dancehall scene. This
summer, Banky will be introduced his entertainment company, Hitts Entertainment and launched his website, www.bankyhype.com
.
Banky Hype currently promotes the two most successful parties in New Jersey; Dons and Divas
held in January and his Rah Rah Birthday Party held in September. If being on top of the New Jersey dancehall scene isn’t
enough, Banky Hype has travelled all over the world. He has played with Massive B sound in Germany, Switzerland, the Caribbean,
and Japan, just to name a few. Banky’s most recent overseas tour was in Nigeria, Africa where he spent two weeks bringing
the sounds and culture of Jamaica and New Jersey to the world. Although he was born in New Jersey, Banky Hype was raised with the Jamaican culture and influences
from his Jamaican born parents, food, and especially music. When asked about becoming a selector, Banky States, “As
a kid, I remember tearing apart my mother’s stereos to make my sound system.” Banky’s first break into the dancehall scene was
in 1998 with Diamond Movement. From there he became a part of the Twin Tower Sound,
Megaforce, and finally a part of Massive B in 2004. Currently you can find Banky Hype promoting hard in the streets
with his crew; Dem Rah Rah Kids; RU Chris, Supah Shane, Clem, J Starks, ShurWin, Samirah, and his intern Damien. Written by:

He is dubbed Rapid from his high school days in Paterson,
New Jersey. DJ Rapid has been there and done that with over 10years experience playing music and promoting events. Before getting his start in the musical industry
Rapid attended parties regularly
in hopes of becoming a dancer in the early nineties, just like his favorite dancer, Bogle. In 1995 Rapid decided to take some lessons from various Selector’s around town as well as his brothers to become a
professional selector . Since the commencement of his musical
career, Rapid has put down the dancing and picked up the microphone
to become a hype-man and a versatile selector at the same time. Rapid now owns and operates Silent Killer Sound, which he inherited from his older brothers. Throughout the years he has played on stations such as 103 Jams in Virginia as well as 88.1 Hampton University Radio and since
late 2004-2005 on 93.5FM in New York with R5 Radio, to his own show Tri-State Hype. From 2005-Present
he has been spinning pure hype on 90.1FM Roadblock Radio in the Northern NJ area, alongside Banky Hype of Massive B and various other local selectors’. He has also shared the turntables with sounds such as Massive B,
Stone Love, King Jam, Steelie Bashment, Mega Force, Afrique,
King Agony, Bullet Proof, Ashanti Night Storm, Grammy Kid, Nemesis, and many others. He has played in places such as The Elite Ark, Prince Hall, Casa Montego, Club 500, Wild Palms, Club Rain, The Hut, The Spot, and various other
clubs in New Jersey, New York, Washington DC, Orlando, Miami, and Virginia. Rapids main goal is to keep the party going. In the next couple
of years he plans to put on more events by under his new company
name Benjamin Entertainment. As well he will be lending his services to all promoters ready to give their patrons quality
entertainment.
